I am continually amazed by the lazy and arrogant approach Barack Obama has taken towards his job as a U.S. Senator.

Over 40% of the time, when Obama was in the Senate for a vote, he voted “present”, rather than take a stand and make a decision to vote yes or no.

Ironically, when Obama was supposed to be “present” at Senate Foreign Relations Committee Hearings, he was frequently off doing something else.

At least he had some manners and apologized for the frequent occurrences of tardiness when he couldn’t be bothered to turn up on time for hearings of significant to our country.

Maybe he took a wrong turn and ended up with the Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs.

What I want to know is why he is not asked to take a drug test.

If he were in the NFL they would be all over him.

You aren't even allowed to drink alot in the NFL, lest you be suspended for life; but run for the HIGHEST office in the land?

Dude! Let's burn on in the oval office!

Give that man a drug test!

You realize the currernt president did cocaine and had a drinking problem until the age of 40? Your post doesn't make much sense.

So your argument is that since some people say Bush did drugs, that it is ok for other people to do drugs?

Is this a new Obama issue to legalize drugs?

When you tell any children you have, don't do drugs.. they are bad, and they say "Obama did drugs and became president, so I can do drugs," how will you respond?

My guess is you will abort your kids, so you dont have to answer the question.

I'm saying your post didn't make much sense. He was late a few times and then you went off talking about giving him a drug test. Didn't understand the connection.

And I'm sure you watch NFL but what you talking about? Lots of people drink alcohol, you don't get banned for life because of it.

Yes, I would like to have my presidents have some moral character, have a history of making decisions. But the reality is, and we can just look at the recent ones, they don't. And it hasn't mattered:

Bush - cocaine, drinking problem until age 40 aka alcoholic

Clinton - marijuana, cheating on his wife a lot

Obama - various drugs

McCain - drinking a lot, cheating on wife

So it hasn't come into play in these elections. And Bush and Clinton were 2 term presidents.

So you don't think football players might have a beer? Or go out and drink a little? It says abuse of alcohol, not use. If you're drinking alcohol to the point, where it's actually affecting your work or an alcoholic, then it's an issue.

Still don't see what it has to do with Obama being late a few times.

First, I apologize for posting this a little late.

I was watching a re-run of Gunsmoke on TVLand and had some concern about a situation that Festus was involved in. But at the end he managed to get the jump on those filthy moonshiners just in the nick of time and Doc patched him right up.

Anyway, isn't this the guy that said, "Oh this financial mess America's in... Yeah it sucks, but hey - just call my cellularized telephone if you need me... Hell, I even got GoToMeeting on my damn laptop."

There are more quotes and video with McCain pointing out to everybody he just has no clue when it comes to this economy/financial stuff.

Refresh my memory, did'nt Obama say somewhere in his book that he smoked pot and did cocaine. I have'nt read the book and since I'm sure you have, it would help with your insight so I won't have to buy it. BTW, do you think maybe he was dealing in drugs to help pay for his Harvard education besides the rumours that the Black Panthers even contributed to his education. Maybe that's who he got his drugs from? What do you think?

BTW,are you posting here under (2) alias' here? I haven't seen that alias you used in the beginning days of this blog since you started using Jonathan.
