There is a new ad about John McCain where Tom Daschle, Joe Biden, John Kerry, Howard Dean, and Russ Feingold share their thoughts on McCain.
Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton also share their views of Senator McCain.
It’s an interesting look at the real John McCain.
Hillary Clinton at the Democratic Convention in Denver
The PUMA political action committee is urging delegates to stick by Hillary Clinton and cast their votes for her at the Democratic nominating convention.
The thinking is that this would unify a divided party.
I wonder if this will happen, or if Obama’s ego will get in the way?
Hillary vs. Obama in 2012
Is Hillary Clinton really committed to getting Barack Obama elected in 2008?
Some folks are wondering otherwise with a domain that was registered on June 10, 2008: hrc2012.com
The domain was registered by a company called The Markham Group that bills itself as “a full-service consulting firm serving political, public sector and corporate clients”.
Here is the domain registration record:

I’ve Got Disgust… for Obama
Music video response to “I’ve Got a Crush… on Obama” by the Obama Girl. An uplifting tune backed by bongo playing and timely lyrics about Presidential hopeful, Barack Obama.
Patti Solis Doyle Joins Team Obama
There is an interesting post in the American Thinker Blog about the hiring of Hillary Clinton’s former campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle.
According to the New York Observer, a “political insider” was quoted as saying it was the biggest “F**k you” he’s ever seen in politics.
I wonder what the strategy was behind this hire? An attempt to woo the women and/or Hispanic voters?
If so, it’s sort of unusual, since it seems to be serving to do no more than stoke the flames of animosity between the Clinton and Obama camps.
Recall that Patti Solis Doyle was fired from the Clinton team earlier this year and blamed for strategic errors in the early primaries.
Whatever the reason, it’s a weird move. It alienates Hillary and they are bringing on somebody who was fired for her performance.
Hillary Clinton Suspends Her Presidential Campaign
Hillary Clinton has decided to suspend her campaign to be President of the United States.
She also encouraged supporters to rally behind Barack Obama.
“The way to continue our fight now to accomplish the goals for which we stand is to take our energy, our passion, our strength and do all we can to help elect Barack Obama, the next president of the United States,” stated Clinton.
But what does this all mean?
It means she is no longer spending money, but the ball is still in play.
She retains her delegates to the nominating convention this summer, and she is able to continue raising money.
Additionally, Hillary Clinton could also reopen her campaign if anything changes, such as a big revelation about Obama, before the Denver convention.
Then again, she could just be planning to force his hand into giving her the Vice President slot.
Does Obama have the courage and conviction to resist?

Obama Records His Second to Last Loss
The results are in for the Democratic Primary in South Dakota, and Hillary Clinton beat Barack Obama by double digits.
You’d think it was unanimous around the United States that Obama was destined to be the next President, but the reality is that his last two months of elections have been a study in failure.
According to Real Clear Politics, Obama has a slight edge over Hillary for the popular vote.
However, Obama recorded less than 50% of the popular vote.
And if you include Michigan, Hillary beats Obama by hundreds of thousands of votes for the total popular vote across all of the primaries.
Here are the winners for Democratic primaries over the past two months where Obama lost 50% of the time to Hillary:
- 06/03/08 Montana - Obama
- 06/03/08 South Dakota - Clinton
- 05/27/08 Idaho - Obama
- 05/20/08 Kentucky - Clinton
- 05/20/08 Oregon - Obama
- 05/13/08 Nebraska - Obama
- 05/13/08 West Virginia - Clinton
- 05/06/08 Indiana - Clinton
- 05/06/08 North Carolina - Obama
- 04/22/08 Pennsylvania - Clinton
So on June 3, 2008, Obama lost his last election for the primary season. Five months until the next election, and the next loss.
Hillary to Obama: Not Tonight, Dear
Tonight in NYC, Senator Hillary Clinton stated, “This has been a long campaign and I will be making no decisions tonight.”
The crowd of supporters chanted “Denver, Denver.”
No end or suspension to the Hillary campaign just yet.
Clinton Supporters for John McCain
Clinton supporter Harriet Christian angry after Rules & Bylaws committee meeting on Florida and Michigan.
It’s not good news for Obama when Democrats are outraged at him. What will make their case more - staying at home or voting for McCain?
