The Barack Obama energy plan, as detailed on his campaign site, includes plans for clean coal:

Develop and Deploy Clean Coal Technology.

Obama’s Department of Energy will enter into public private partnerships to develop five “first-of-a-kind” commercial scale coal-fired plants with clean carbon capture and sequestration technology.

But when Biden was asked on the campaign trail about the support of clean coal by Team Obama, Biden answered, We’re not supporting clean coal.”

He went on to say, “No coal plants here in America. “Build them, if they’re going to build them, over there (in China).”

I wonder which direction the Obama/Biden ticket is going in - the version on their Web site or the words straight from Biden?
