Barack Obama has apparently come to the realization that he can’t possibly make a case for being more experienced than John McCain, so he’s trying to compare himself to Sarah Palin.

According to CNN, Obama tried to outclass Governor Palin’s executive experience by touting his campaign organization…

“My understanding is that Gov. Palin’s town, Wassilla, has I think 50 employees. We’ve got 2500 in this campaign. I think their budget is maybe 12 million dollars a year – we have a budget of about three times that just for the month.”

First of all, Obama isn’t running against Palin. And second, he’s speaking about a previous job of hers, rather than her experiences and responsibilities as Governor of Alaska.

If we compare this to swimmers in the Olympics, Obama is like some guy form a country called Obamastan who says he’s the best swimmer in the world, even though he’s not as good as Michael Phelps.

But he sort of matches up with the guy that got the Silver.

Joe Biden = Dick Cheney 2.0

September 2, 2008 · Filed Under Joe Biden ·

Barack Obama’s VP pick, Joe Biden, has a stark similarity to Vice-President Dick Cheney, according to a report from the Associated Press.

In the past, Vice-President Cheney has been roundly criticized for his draft deferments during the Vietnam War.

Well, it turns out that Joe Biden received five student draft deferments during the Vietnam War, too.

He was ultimately excused from service due to having asthma.

The mainstream media were anxious to tell the story of Cheney’s deferments - how come I haven’t heard about Biden from them?
