Barack Obama and a Legacy of Tax Increases

October 9, 2008 · Filed Under Economy, Fiscal ·

One of the main points of the Barack Obama campaign is that he has promised a tax cut for 95 percent of Americans.

It’s important to note that 30% of people in the country pay no federal income taxes. So, their “tax cut” is actually a welfare check.

But forget that huge lie for a second and think about his voting record. Obama has spent his time in the Senate voting for tax increases.

Obama has voted at least 94 times for higher taxes in the U.S. Senate.

But now, in this fragile economy, where Obama has plans to dramatically increase spending and cut taxes for “95% of Americans.

Come on, do you really believe this? Really?

Do the math.

Obama the Thug Talks Trash to McCain

October 9, 2008 · Filed Under Debates, John McCain, William Ayers ·

Barack Obama is unhappy that people are talking about his relationship with terrorist William Ayers.

Just like with his friends Reverend Wright and Tony Rezko, the William Ayers that we are learning about is not the William Ayers that Obama knew.

Stop me if you think that you’ve heard this one before.

Anyhow, it appears to be a spot on characterization from Bill Clinton when he referred to Barack Obama as “a Chicago thug” given his latest comments.

In an interview with ABC News, Obama expressed that he was surprised John McCain didn’t bring up Ayers in the debate:

“I am surprised that, you know, we’ve been seeing some pretty over-the-top attacks coming out of the McCain campaign over the last several days, that he wasn’t willing to say it to my face.”

I do think the moderator of the debate two days ago, Tom Brokaw, should have brought up Obama and Ayers.

Mr. Thug: the moderator asks the questions, not Senator McCain.

I’d be curious to hear more about Obama and his sketchy friends and associations in the next debate.
