Hillary Clinton made a controversial comment yesterday where she invoked the June 1968 assassination of Robert F. Kennedy to explain her reasoning for remaining in the presidential race.

This comment unsurprisingly resulted in a deluge of negative reactions towards Clinton.

Her comments…

“My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992 until he won the California primary somewhere in the middle of June, right? We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June in California.”

This was in response to a question from editors of the Sioux Falls, S.D. Argus Leader on why she remained in the race for the Democratic nomination.

Hilary has apologized, and RFK’s son defended Hillary.

However, what didn’t get reported was that Obama has made his own assassination allusions regarding Hillary Clinton.

I am unable to find an instance where Obama apologized for his similar comment.
