Concerns Over Joe Biden and His Brain Aneurysms

Joe Biden’s medical records were released earlier this week, but there was a noteworthy omission. There were no brain scans included with the records that were released, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Newly released medical records from vice presidential candidate Joe Biden do not include the results of any recent brain scans, which some experts consider necessary to assess whether the senator is at risk for a repeat of the brain aneurysms that nearly killed him 20 years ago.

Biden’s most recent physical exam in July showed him to be in good health, according to a letter from Dr. John Eisold that the campaign released Monday. The letter from Eisold, who is the attending physician for Congress, described Biden’s cardiac capacity as excellent.

But the 49 pages of records the campaign released gave no indication that Biden’s doctors sought follow-up tests after the serious aneurysms he suffered in 1988. Medical experts are divided over the need for such precautionary brain scans, but many feel it is the only way to be sure a patient is out of danger.

The mainstream media have repeatedly tried to cast doubt on John McCain’s health, despite the fact that he released more than 1,000 pages of medical records in May showing he is in good health.

I hope that Joe Biden is healthy and clear of the threat of further brain aneurysms, but we should know for sure.

20 years ago? McCains health problems are recent. He's older than Biden, he's 72. He's running for president, Biden is for VP. If Biden doesn't make it, we have talent to step in. If McCain doesn't make it we have Palin, a disaster. But I do agree all candidates should fully release their medical records. It's nice to see Palin finally decided to, telling Brian Williams that she would, a surprise to the McCain campaign.

Yes, 20 years ago, he almost died from brain aneurysms.

If he's all free and clear, a recent brain scan would tell that story.

McCain shared his medical records.

Nancy Pelosi has exhibited much "talent" as Speaker of the House.

It seems like just 2 1/2 years ago that she stated...

"Democrats have a commonsense plan to help bring down skyrocketing gas prices by cracking down on price gouging, rolling back the billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies, tax breaks and royalty relief given to big oil and gas companies, and increasing production of alternative fuels.”

Care to share that commonsense plan of hers? I've been trying to find it for months.

I would suggest that all Senator Biden's gaffs indicate that there may be a problem.
