Change We Can Bereave In

Amazing - the Democrats have no shame. They gloat about lying to get into office.

“I’ll tell you my impression. We really, in this last election, when I say we… the Democrats, I think pushed it as far as we can to the envelope.

We didn’t say it, but we implied it, that if we won the Congressional elections, we could stop the war.

Now anybody was a good student of Government would know that wasn’t true.

But you know, the temptation to want to win back the Congress, we sort of stretched the facts…and people ate it up.”

Barack Obama Would Make a Great Newscaster

June 12, 2008 · Filed Under Gaffe, Opinion ·

There is a lot of fuss made in the mainstream media about the speaking talents of Barack Obama.

And yes, he does have a talent for delivering a written speech, but his extemporaneous speaking skills are pretty rough.

I came across a post, Toastmasters Award, on the Real Time Jones blog about how while “Obama delivers an excellent prepared speech, his impromptu speaking (similar to table topics) needs a great deal of work.”

Here are a couple videos Tim shares that highlight Obama speaking sans TelePrompter.

No wonder he isn’t too keen for a series of town hall meetings.

Then again, I bet he could fetch a nice salary to be a talking head on the evening news come November 5, 2008.
